Cellosophy sells subscriptions (Cellosophy Method), one-time practice courses, and sheet music in digital and print form. Refund eligibility depends on the product. Use the table below for a quick summary; full terms follow.

1.1 · Free trial
All new Cellosophy subscriptions (monthly and yearly) include a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial. Cancel anytime through your account dashboard. We send a reminder email three (3) days before the trial ends.
1.2 · Monthly subscriptions
Once a monthly billing period begins, the charge is non-refundable. You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the current billing period. We do not refund partial billing periods, previously charged periods, or unused access.
1.3 · Yearly subscriptions
Yearly subscriptions include the same 14-day free trial. After the trial converts to a paid annual subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the first annual charge. After day 14 of the paid year, the annual term is non-refundable; you may cancel at any time and access continues through the end of the paid year.
1.4 · Why subscriptions are non-refundable after the window
Subscriptions include access to downloadable materials (sheet music, PDFs, practice guides, instructional videos). For that reason, charges outside the windows above are non-refundable.
2.1 · 30-Day Practice Challenge ($99)
Full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided you have not completed more than 50% of the course content.
2.2 · Practical Popper Prep ($499)
Full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided you have not completed more than 25% of the course content.
2.3 · Proper Popper Practice Project ($4,299)
Refund eligibility requires demonstrated participation. Within the first seven (7) weeks, you must have:
If both conditions are met and PPPP is not the right fit, request a full refund within the seven-week window. Requests submitted after the window, or without meeting both conditions, will not be granted.
2.4 · Payment plans
The refund policy applies to the full purchase price, not individual installments. Discontinuing payments without requesting a refund within the window suspends course access and the remaining balance becomes due.
3.1 · Digital downloads
Digital sheet music (Aaron-Moore Popper Edition, Franchomme 12 Etudes, individual Cellosophy method volumes, and bundles) is non-refundable once the file has been accessed or downloaded. If purchased in error and not yet downloaded, contact support@cellosophy.com within 24 hours.
3.2 · Physical printed editions
Physical printed editions may be returned unopened within 14 days of delivery at the buyer's expense. Return instructions are provided on request. Opened or used printed editions are non-refundable.
The 7-Day Practice Primer, the Practice Scorecard, and other free resources are provided at no cost and are not eligible for refunds.
Orders placed through an AI agent, shopping assistant, or automated checkout (including Stripe's Agentic Commerce surface) are bound by the same refund windows and conditions as orders placed directly on cellosophy.com. The named account holder is the customer of record for refunds, support, and access.
If an agent enrolled you in a subscription or course you did not authorize, contact support@cellosophy.com within 7 days of the charge and we will reverse it, subject to standard fraud-prevention checks.
Participation requirements (for example, the recordings and masterclass attendance required for a PPPP refund) apply regardless of how the order was placed.

For PPPP refund requests, attach links to your submitted practice recordings and the date of the masterclass you attended.
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting Cellosophy, your account and access to all Cellosophy products may be suspended or terminated. Please email support@cellosophy.com first so we can resolve the issue directly.
Chargebacks initiated after the applicable refund window has passed, or for products where refunds are not available under this policy, will be disputed.

Sheet music is sold per title at https://cellosophy.com/cello-sheet-music. The catalog includes the Aaron-Moore Popper Edition (Op. 73), the Franchomme 12 Etudes, and individual volumes of the Cellosophy Method (15 volumes in total) in both digital and physical formats. Bundles and starter packages are also available.
Yes. Email support@cellosophy.com within 7 days of purchase, provided you have not completed more than 50% of the course content. The full $99 is refunded to the original payment method.
Yes. Email support@cellosophy.com within 14 days of purchase, provided you have not completed more than 25% of the course content. The full $499 (or paid amount on a payment plan) is refunded.
Yes, within the first 7 weeks, but only if you have demonstrated participation: completing the first four etudes of Unit 1 (verified through submitted practice recordings) and attending at least one live masterclass in full. After 7 weeks, or without meeting both conditions, refunds are not available. This is intentional — the policy refunds students who engaged and decided PPPP is not the right fit, not students who never participated.
No, not once the file has been accessed or downloaded. If you purchased a digital edition in error and have not yet downloaded it, contact support@cellosophy.com within 24 hours and we will refund it.
